I’m Jen Valentino (Imlay), also known as the children’s author Jennifer Gladen. I have written several books for children under that pen name. After writing for children for many years, my focus on my writing is changing, which is why I am focusing this blog under my maiden name, Valentino.

I am a writer who is passionate about the Catholic Faith. My heart is on fire for God and it grows every day. That is part of the reason I created this blog. I wanted to share my love of and journey with God through His teachings and the Church Jesus started. God is just so wonderful that it is impossible to keep it all inside! One could say that I am “captivated” by His love.

Additionally, I have three grown children and am just a few semesters away from getting my Master’s Degree in Instructional Design. I spend my spare time learning more about the faith, reading, writing, and taking care of my household full of pets. My favorite pass time is doing faith-centered diamond paintings.
